
CHANNEL 71 (Cable) / CHANNEL 27 (Fios)
The NYCOTB Racing Network can be found on Channel 71, on Time Warner and Cablevision basic cable systems and on Channel 27, on Verizon Fios, seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. From approximately 7:00am until the start of live racing, we offer programming which will get you ready for your racing day. We begin with profiles from four of the day’s tracks and then offer programming, such as OTB’s own handicapping show, Out Of The Gate and the OTB Replay Show, which presents replays from the prior day’s two premier tracks, along with special live handicapping shows directly from host tracks. Check the TV Schedule for days and times of these shows.
-When NYRA is running:
- The NYRA Replay Show (of previous day’s races) is aired on days that NYRA tracks are operating (Saturdays, Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and holidays, however the schedule is subject to change). The 30-minute Replay Show is aired 1½ hours before the first post.
- At the conclusion of the NYRA Replay Show (and one hour before post time), the NYRA Show is aired.
- At post time, the entire NYRA card will be televised.
- At the conclusion of the NYRA card, one to four out-of-state thoroughbred tracks will be aired until 7:30pm.
- At approximately 7:30, a combination of thoroughbred and harness tracks will be aired.
- On Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays, Australia and several thoroughbred or harness tracks will be televised until approximately 1:00am.
-When NYRA is dark:
- NYRA is usually dark on Mondays and Tuesdays, however the schedule is subject to change.
- From noon to approximately 7:00pm, one to four out-of-state thoroughbred tracks will be aired.
- At approximately 7:00pm, a combination of thoroughbred and harness tracks will be aired.
CHANNEL 73 (Cable) / CHANNEL 26 (Fios)
NYCOTB has been given use of Channel 73 (on cable-access television) and of Channel 27 (on Verizon Fios) on the following days/times:
-Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from approximately noon until 7:30pm;
-Wednesdays and Thursdays, from approximately 5:30pm to 7:30pm;
-Sundays, from approximately 2:00pm to 5:30pm.
During these hours, in-state thoroughbred or harness tracks, such as Finger Lakes and Monticello are aired. This station is also used to show any additional out-of-state harness and thoroughbred tracks after NYRA ends.
