Here are some helpful hints when using your ADW Account to make wagers by telephone...

  • Give the Representative your Account Number and Password at the beginning of every call but 
    make certain that you retain your Account Number and Password at all times.  This is confidential 
    information and should be known only to you.
  • The Representative must provide his/her window number when accepting your call.
  • State your bet by giving the track name, bet amount, bet type, race and track program numbers.
  • Listen carefully to the Representative's readback. If incorrect information is read back and you confirm it by not correcting the Representative, the wager stands and no adjustments can be made.
  • In the event that a requested wager is not confirmed by you, the customer, as being correct, that wager will not be entered into the system.
  • Only the named account holder is authorized to place wagers against his/her own account.
  • Make certain that you verify your bet total and closing balance with the Representative at the end of your call.
  • If you should have any problems with a Representative, ask to speak with one of the Supervisors on duty.
  • All Telephone Betting conversations are audio recorded and archived for sixty (60) days. If you should have any problems with your account, contact Customer Services on the day following the wagers in question so that the necessary research can be performed. If an error is determined, your account will be reimbursed with the proper credit, based on the winning pari-mutuel payout.


Here are some helpful hints when using your ADW Account to make wagers over the internet...

  • Once you click on the "Accept Bet" button, a wager cannot be cancelled. The wager stands and no adjustments can be made.
  • Only the named account holder is authorized to place wagers against his/her own account. Keep your Account Number and PIN confidential at all times.
  • If you encounter any problems while wagering, call 1-888-iBetOTB. Please listen carefully to the recorded menu so your call can be directed to the proper help desk. For non-emergency issues, you can e-mail us at www.iBetOTB@nycotb.com.
  • When first accessing the wagering pad, you have to click twice to active the Java application and the second click will enter your selection. After the intial two clicks on your mouse, all further selections on this screen will require only one click.
  • If you forget your Account Number and/or PIN, just look below the Log In button in the Members Section of the log-on screen for further instructions.

Please note: All accounts inactive for a period of three (3) years will automatically be closed and any funds still remaining in the account will be forfeited to the state.
