Biography
 Dan Illman has served as the co-host of the “Out of the Gate” program since 2007. He is DRF.com's Handicapping Editor. Dan recently released Daily Racing Form’s newest DVD Trip Handicapping, and has also authored Betting Maidens & Two-Year-Olds. Dan is a frequent radio and TV guest, has appeared on ESPN, TVG, and HRTV, hosts the popular “FormBlog” on drf.com, and is also the host of the DRF Newsdesk. He has worked for Daily Racing Form since 1998, and was a handicapper in the daily paper from 2000-2005. Career highlights include winning selections Air Commander ($106.80), Turbo Fan ($106.00), and Warrior’s Reward ($63.00) on live “Out of the Gate” broadcasts as well as Vale of York ($63.20) on the 2009 Breeders’ Cup Preview program.
